I cannot over emphasize the importance of you knowing your car I had several people tell me that because I had a new engine in the car it would run warmer than the old one I know my car and it never ran over 185 regardless of the OAT This is what will save your ass down the road Being a pilot you tend to know normal operating ranges of things your ass depends on it I would strongly advise all of you to log the temps of your car in adverse conditions so that you have a base line in the event you notice differences CLYDE In victory you deserve Champagne In defeat you need it!
