At this point, there is only one place anyone should be buying hoses....  Dave Helm's Scuderia Rampante.   "Unca" Dave has put a huge amount of time, effort and money into developing the hoses and the complete hose kits for these cars.  If you are cost conscious, they might scare you...  If quality and reliability is your goal... There just isn't a better solution right now.

Your oil and water temp should mirror each other on a standard day as well
If one exceeds the other by 20% you should investigate
That's another gauge in my opinion of a healthy car
Ferraris usually have exceptional cooling systems since they re sold world wide

Great advice. Same applies to oil pressure and temperature as well as charging rate if you have gauges instead of idiot lights for those functions. How will you recognize abnormal if you don't know what "normal" is?

I cannot over emphasize the importance of you knowing your car

I had several people tell me that because I had a new engine in the car it would run warmer than the old one

I know my car and it never ran over 185 regardless of the OAT

This is what will save your ass down the road

Being a pilot you tend to know normal operating ranges of things your ass depends on it

I would strongly advise all of you to log the temps of your car in adverse conditions so that you have a base line in the event you notice differences
