Good point Clyde.

Picture this – Mid 1970’s at Riverside Int’l Raceway – Labor day in SoCal’s high desert.  Hot hot hot.  We’re racing an air cooled 911 Porsche.  Engine temps get hotter than scary hot.  Quite a distraction.  Oh what to do?  What to do?

Easy - - - re-plumb the 2 gallon sized windshield washer reservoir bottle with a hose to the engine compartment and end it with a windshield washer squirter.  Aim the squirter into the engine fan and wire a turn signal flasher relay to a switch on the dash to a windshield washer squirter motor.

Going down the 12 mile long (seemingly) back straight, flip the switch on – squirt – squirt - squirt, and watch the temps drop faster than the re-sale value of a new Ferrari.

DOUG

Somehow the squirt squirt squirt sequence also seems to hit a sensual pleasure point –  but now at my age I can’t recall what that might have been.  Ah well - -
