My water temp gauge has not worked for a while, and as long as I have sorted out the other 308 temp issues, I may as well knock that one off also. I need to determine if it is the pickup or the gauge Thus- 1) If I pull and short the temp thermistor(I assume it is a thermistor??) leads what should the gauge do? Full max or full min? 2) If I put a resistance(how much??) across the temp gauge leads, what should the gauge do? Other quick tips/tricks to determine which is bad?? Thank goodness the wiring doesn’t go through the fuse block….. Mark Ps – another shout out to Paul Bennett and his 308 wiring diagram jpg – awesomely usefull !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
