Finally got the chrome off. 25 minutes of struggle. The stem for the hands is still in place. But I'll manage to clean the glass anyway because it's hanging on the outside of the clock. Time for a break and a beer. Tomorrow, glass cleaning day.

O.k. finally got the clock out of the car. I went straight to a friend of mine who is a jeweller. I thought he would have a trick or two up his sleeves. No luck.
He was able to make the round black plastic and chrome turn around. But that's it. Couldn't remove the stem either.

Now, I'm back home. I went back to Doug's link on FERRARILIFE and tried to figured out how to get the stem and chrome off. The picture seems to be pretty simple for the stem. But I just can't manage to take the top off. Samething for the chrome.
