Heh. I am the president of our local Navy League Council. I have a friend who teaches blind people how to make jewelry. They in turn are selling their jewelry to raise scholarship funds for cadets at Panama's Maritime University. We use that as a motivational tool. When those cadets start thinking life is tough, they are reminded of the blind people supporting them. I like the twist. Normally, the Cadets are doing things for others. For the blind, they are empowered knowing the tables are turned. Sent from my BlackBerry 10 smartphone.
Don't get me started on millennials..... If ever there's anything that makes me feel like an old man instantly, it's relating to their work ethic and entitlement. Whenever I'm feeling lazy or under-performing, I can think about them and right away feel good. On Wed, Mar 16, 2016 at 5:07 PM, Charles Perry <charles [at] carolina-sound.com> wrote:
