Looks like he kicked it and lost it. With 660bhp and probably in a low gear, that is easier to do than you might think. That kind of power has to be applied with skill.

I lost it one time in my 85’ TR…only 400hp. I kicked it turning left in 1st gear, the accelerator stuck, and I switched ends in the blink of an eye. I’ve had street rods as a kid…ran cars at the local drag strip 60 years ago, and even a 66’ GT350…..Never had anything like that happen. I learned a lesson. The high horsepower of the cars we drive needs to be respected.
