Michael – Ferrari ground wire color is black.

The wire could have easily been knocked off its sender spade.

Go to the owner’s manual and refer to the wiring fold out map.  Your manual does have one? Yes?

Find the temp sender on the map then locate it on the engine and see if the wire is attached.
