There are many fine restaurants in London, even some traditional English, such as Wilton’s, on Jermyn Street, where the oysters and Dover sole, and everything else, is top notch, but most are have foreign chefs. Wilton’s is not cheap however and still requires a jacket (if not a tie) for men. But the service and food are both sublime. I still stop in on every trip to London.
