Only the early C7 Z06s had heat problems.
Later ones are fine.
C7 ZR1s are fine.
C7 Grand Sports are fine (and one of the best handling sports cars at any price).
C6 ZR1s are fine.
New car will be a monster in typical GM fashion.
Ferrari will be very smart to buy technology from it like they have done before.
My money says it will overheat when driven hard like the current one does Forget about stop and go traffic in the south in the summer It’s a Chernobyl car!

At that price point, it should be a big seller. The current C7 model
is very popular, I see them everywhere. Much more common than the C6
or C5 ever were.
