I forget stuff - even important stuff - all the time.

My Tahoe has the option to remind you to check the rear seat when you turn it off ... but how do you forget a kid/?? We have had multiple instances of this (one 3-year old died) as well as "parents" passing out drunk or high with kids in
the car - windows up etc.

So why isn’t there a system in place that if the car senses that the rear seat belts are in use you cant lock the car and the windows stay down?
It can’t be that hard and think of how many kids lives could be saved ?
