Hi Cody! Was it you that I was speaking with at the FCA Daytona track event this year? With the blue 348?

 

I was a couple of spaces down with the black Corvette C7 Z06.

Charles,

 

I’ve looked at those but opted for something a little more automatic. Not to save the car but mainly to provide escape time and to allow me, if I’m present when it happens, to be able to get my behind the seat standard extinguisher out. 

 

 

I have it mounted on the underside of the engine lid in my 348. Clyde has seen it.

 

People ask why. Because I was nearly killed in a car fire and not exactly rational in that case.

Any of you seen this? Maybe even used it?

The Halon units I have in my cars are pretty old now. Their pressure meters still read good, but this seems like a pretty cool backup.
