My warm up routine was/is relatively easy: I live on a long steep hill. A brief driveway idle period - like 60 seconds, then down the hill with no load on the engine. I rationalize that all the mechanical bits are turning for the 3/4 mile to the bottom, circulating the fluids. Then about 3/4 mile at very light throttle - low speed, level ground. For most of my cars I call this good enough. But for the departed GT4, I turned down a long residential street with a speed limit of 35mph for about 3 miles. Then a higher speed section for another 2 miles. Then 60mph at light throttle back into town, about 5 miles. Good to go. Hans.
