After trying hundreds I’ve still never found a wax that I’m totally happy with and I paid $200 once for a jar or something that is no better than $10 can.

One of my Ferraris is a single stage paint and it so thin if I use any polish it is slowly wearing through to the primer so I have to use a non-abrasive wax.

Although I’m not that impressed with any of the wax products from Griot‘s garage the best thing I ever bought from there is their  light blue microfiber towels they’re  the softest things I’ve ever used and I ended up getting rid of all my cotton towels.

Interesting choice for wax. Makes sense considering the job it has to perform, so why wouldn’t it work as a general purpose protectant for outdoor, driving use.

 

I used old fashioned Turtle Wax on my old daily driver years ago. Easy to apply and it kept the car looking good for years of daily driving.

For the seats, it's been pretty much consensus to use Leatherique. Paint finish technology moves fast, so that's a moving target. I use FK1000 mold release wax on some cars, as it's extremely long lasting. But way too many coats of Zaino on my Maserati, for reasons that I can't explain.
