Annnnd, we are back to airplanes.  

This thread would make for a fascinating study in abnormal psychology.  Where do I start.  I guess a good place would be the insecurity that would cause someone to state the obvious that a 40 year old Ferrari wouldn't be fast by current standards.  Erectile dysfunction?  Penis envy?  Is Captain Obvious a new rank in the military?

Or, perhaps, the circular self-contradictory logic.  Speed matters...OK, buy a Tesla...no, panache matters...OK, buy a 308...yes, but only if you don't modify it because...speed matters...
