Ah, you missed the good old days when the list was cats, guns and watches.

Hopefully you'll reach the zen moment when you realize it's all just stuff, no one cares, and the jovial banter among close friends is all that is really meaningful.

But if you want to get a front row seat to abnormal psychology and the joys of vapid banality that come with the exclusivity of Ferrari ownership, I think there is still time to get tickets to the Cavallino Classic.

They may even let 348s in...

Annnnd, we are back to airplanes.

This thread would make for a fascinating study in abnormal psychology.  Where do I start.  I guess a good place would be the insecurity that would cause someone to state the obvious that a 40 year old Ferrari wouldn't be fast by current standards.  Erectile dysfunction?  Penis envy?  Is Captain Obvious a new rank in the military?

Or, perhaps, the circular self-contradictory logic.  Speed matters...OK, buy a Tesla...no, panache matters...OK, buy a 308...yes, but only if you don't modify it because...speed matters...

Jesus will only be your co-pilot if you drive the right car or fly the right plane.  And he shall cleanse the earth of those who overpay for the wrong car or plane.
