One of the funniest ones that I ever saw, was about twenty years ago on a SAAB Turbo convertible.

Wait Doug, those are license tags, not bumper stickers! If you want to go there....

There used to be a Toyota MR2 in our area with the tag:

JAP 4RE

I strongly considered getting for the 308:

ITLN MR2

but thought it might be too obscure.

Instead, I went with

FST FIAT

but since then, now I've changed to

NO FIERO

On my old 1988 Rolls-Royce Silver Spur, my tag was:

UK MNVAN

Clever.

1982, Kalifornia now allows up to seven digits.  The most requested plate?  PORSCHE.

Lottery held and a 20 something fellow a (gulp) Toyota truck owner won it.  “well, one of these days I’ll get a Porsche.”

Last time I saw the plate it was on a 1960’s 356 silver Porsche Carrera 2.  Four cam engine took over 100 hours to put together.
