When I had my 911 I managed to get CALL911.  DMV didn’t want to issue, but law only excluded POLICE AND SHERIFF.

Clever.

1982, Kalifornia now allows up to seven digits.  The most requested plate?  PORSCHE.

Lottery held and a 20 something fellow a (gulp) Toyota truck owner won it.  “well, one of these days I’ll get a Porsche.”

Last time I saw the plate it was on a 1960’s 356 silver Porsche Carrera 2.  Four cam engine took over 100 hours to put together.
