PROVA is mine on my 1981 308GTSi. Simply because in the 70s I saw pictures of Ferrari cars getting out of the factory being tested and they had that plate hanging in the back. They don’t use that anymore.

Clever.
1982, Kalifornia now allows up to seven digits.  The most requested plate?  PORSCHE. 
Lottery held and a 20 something fellow a (gulp) Toyota truck owner won it.  “well, one of these days I’ll get a Porsche.”
Last time I saw the plate it was on a 1960’s 356 silver Porsche Carrera 2.  Four cam engine took over 100 hours to put together.
