My 85 308 turn signals took a holiday without my consent this summer, and I originally thought I had to nightmarishly dig into the stalk…..

 

Then found this easy fix – apparently the turn signal wiring is connected to the Hazard switch - which can cause faults.  Thus, the solution was to simply remove the switch panel, spray the Hazard switch body liberally with electronic parts cleaner and also down the switch from the top, then actuate the Hazard switch 50 times….

 

…..and voila’, the turn signals work perfectly now J
