Had a chat with a friend last night that worked for Ernst Stuhlinger back in the day. Pretty sure that he would have said something about more drag than lift on that slipstream, plenty of wake turbulence, too. 

Did learn some things about the Messerschmitt 109 that aren’t on the Wikipedia page, but that’s a different list conversation…

Helmut Marko took a more Austere Austrian approach.While Anthony was indeed kind, I believe Helmut's tact will do the young man more good.But that is the warrior's approach, FWIW?? This is not first grade in racing.
