Great to have the list back + Warmup starts

Working to troubleshoot my warm up start problem. You want scarry, park on an
incline, learn the parking brake doesn't work and you are rolling back into
traffic as the car refuses to start.

My ToolAid Fuel Pressure Tester arrived today and I've been trying to make
sense of the K-Jetronic reading material I have.

Placed the guage in the circuit between fuel distributor and regulator. Purged
air, started car cold (instantly) and pressure hardly deviates from 30psi.
Once hot, the car doesn't want to start without excessive accellerator pumping.
It used to start instantly hot. Key off it maintains 40 psi for almost 2
hours, which seems to rule out the accumulator. This will take some messing
around. Earlier changed the relays with no effect. I wonder that fuel
filters are clogged, restrictive but car runs ok at speed.

This warm start problem was new to me but a search showed it to be a common 3x8
problem. It would be interesting to gather all the problems which will
eventually catch up with 3x8 owners.

OK how about planning for Hallet 2009 ?? Memories of Hallett99 still happily
fill my idle moments. With the euro vs dollar reversed plus the new political
climate/dangers it's tougher but still a rewarding trip. I'm sure glad that
Speed channel carried LeMons 24h. And the couple F1 races covered by CBS sure
makes one appreciate the Speed channel announcers and their superior coverage.
