Let me make sure I understand your sentence Dennis. You are saying that
Ferrari speedometers read faster than the car is actually going. Right? That
statement is consistent with Ric Rainbolt's measurements when he owned my
308GTB. I can check that against my Mercedes once I get the 308 licensed for
general use. The SL500 is frightfully precise.

Ferraris up to the 355, and perhaps including the 360, have VERY optimistic
speedos, on the order of at least 10%.
