My Countach was the first of the Chrysler years and it was improved over the early cars. It actually had a wiring diagram in existence which was not present before (at least in any form of entiriety). Overall the car was on par with a mid 70's Ferrari in terms of build quality. What I remember most were that fasteners were very cheap. There were lots of self tapping screws instead of dedicated pieces. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, just an observation when comparing to a comparable year TR. I think the Chrysler takeover offered many advantages in the electrical department and that may have made a big impression in terms of overall "reliability". I've only spent time driving a few Diablos (CG's, and a 6.0) and I think that they've improved in terms of refinement and on paper performance as the years go on. But that's only good for a Lexus or Honda. I'd say that Charles' VT and the SE30 was the pinnacle for Lambo. All the new stuff (Murci-G) has a different tree hugging, litigation swerving feel to it.
