Volvo drivers are not inherently bad, most of them just don't give a
damm and could care less what kind of car they drive. They are sold on
the idea of that if you gotta have a car you should at least be safe.
This attitude caries over into their driving skills (or lack thereof).

I still remember discussing Volvo drivers with past lister Jon Ward.
Conclusion:  Volvo drivers are inherently bad.  What kind of driver
would be
swayed into buying something marketed as safe unless there was a plan to
have accidents.  Many accidents implies bad driver.  Or at least, that
was
thinking, flawed as it is. (Shout out to Charles' 240)

Anecdotally, my wife had 3 collisions in her Volvo, none her fault, with
in
a one year period.  I think it is just a wreck magnet.  She drives a
4Runner
now and the only accident she has been in involved hitting me.
