I still remember discussing Volvo drivers with past lister Jon Ward.
Conclusion:  Volvo drivers are inherently bad.  What kind of driver would be
swayed into buying something marketed as safe unless there was a plan to
have accidents.  Many accidents implies bad driver.  Or at least, that was
thinking, flawed as it is. (Shout out to Charles' 240)

Anecdotally, my wife had 3 collisions in her Volvo, none her fault, with in
a one year period.  I think it is just a wreck magnet.  She drives a 4Runner
now and the only accident she has been in involved hitting me.
