Francis - Burt spent some time on lay over in Heathrow and being a car-guy
with time to kill purchased a newspaper sorta thing with tons of cars for
sale and what not. Also for sale, in numerous ads, were license plates (?).
Tons of them. Rows and rows. What is the deal with that? or didn't I read
far enough in the last post?
Thanks
DOUG

I never understood the whole "letter" thing on Brit plates, could you please explain?? I've even asked a couple of Brit friends and they dont' seem to know either.
I think EJ also owned a standard Testarossa that was a gift from his manager, but I guess he had a number of Ferraris in his garage at one time.

I believe they were made for 3 years before the "M" came out but regardless cars here are judged by the year of their first registration and not the year of manufacturer so a '95 can could actually be a '94 model year but first registured in '95. Thus the dealer was telling me it was a "K" plate car.
