I sent this to the Mercedes list, as I was asking about, well, you'll see from the below, but I got zero answers, maybe someone on the Ferrari list would know if something is available aftermarket for any cars, let alone my poor 300E. Thanks, Tom Reynolds Tulsa, OK ----- Original Message ----- From: Tom Reynolds To: mercedes [at] mercedeslist.com Sent: Saturday, November 11, 2006 10:30 AM Subject: magneto-rheological (MagneRide) shocks from Delphi? Are the magnetic shocks/ECU, etc. available for older model cars yet? Cost/lifespan information wanted, car in question (of course) is my '88 300E. Saw the "Ultimate Factory" show on the Ferrari factory last night, basically an infomercial for the new 599 Fiorano, but they had a blurb in the show about the magnetic shocks. Found out that the Corvette had them available for the '02 MY (not all the Corvette models) and that the new Audi TT will have them available, as do now some of the Cadillacs and the Buick Lucerne CSX, etc. Anyone (Randy?) know if these are available for our cars yet?
