Tom You sure are getting beat up on, and as far as I can see it is only because you just like what you like and try to live within your means, In regards to Brians last post, "can cost only $8K - $12K to buy, but they could need $6K in service right off the bat." If he is suggesting that to have $18k invested in a good running 944 Turbo is bad, I have to wonder if he has ever driven a good running 944 Turbo, OR an $18k Ferrari? I can't imagine what one would have to spend on an $8k to $12k Ferrari just to drive it one time. But then, that is only my evaluation of having read some of the posts.
