Hi Larry,
I suggest going to your bank and opening a new account(typically free), and
giving this info to the buyer, asking him to wire transfer the funds. We
have never had problems with international orders, and use this method
frequently.

ps - as an FYI, we are in a Letter of Credit issue right now with an Arab
bank. For your information, Guaranteed Letters of Credit are worth the
paper they are printed on - per LC terms, the buyer can find ANY
discrepancy(such as missing a period at the end of a sentence) and refuse to
pay until you lower the price. This is AFTER they have also recieved the
goods.>. The only way to ensure you will be paid is to require wire
transfer payments.

Question

Be wary of Paypal. Sorry I can't answer the banking question.

Paypal took back a sizable amount of money from me two months after I
received it. Of course I did not have enough money in my Paypal account
so they just took it from my bank account/credit card. Apparently the
monies I received from their paypal account was funded with a stolen
credit card. So Paypal's policy is the legit user gets hosed out of
goods AND money.

Use an insured method for international trade if the $ amount makes you
sweat. I've never used one, only heard about them.
