On a somewhat related note...I was at an Aston dealer last week looking at a DB9. The adjoining sales floor had a 2003 911 present. There was no comparison between the two cars, it was unbelievable. Apparently, the new 997 has 45hrs of build time from start to finish. The DB9 has 52 hrs just in paint!!!
