522 miles in two days and the car ran faultlessly... No water used and only a very slight drop of oil down on the dip stick. I sat on 80 miles an hour out of towns everywhere traffic would allow and the car was orsome:) The new radar detector worked which was good... as the limit is 60 mph in NZ... I am very impressed with the 308 GTB as a "real world" driving car in traffic and normal road situations, I had expected it to have been great at the top end and lacking down low in the revs but it's not at all! I also love the way that at speed in a corner I can just move the car anywhere and everywhere I need without any fuss... (ie to drive around roadkill or rocks)... The only thing I am going to have to do something about is my left leg (RHD car),.... to get on the foot rest I have to twist my knee a little and today I have a sore back on the left side which I think was a result of that leg not being well supported... I will look into making a new rest that comes come across towards the clutch pedal a little more so my leg can sit straighter... About 3 times the starter motor wirrrred but did not engage the engine... is their anything I can look at to fix that? It always engaged the second time and started fine... Over all I am a happy Ferrari owner:) Regards Gavin New Zealand
