Simple answer...your price is too high.

You've advertised in all the right places, people are calling. If they are
talking price right off the bat, that tells me they are interested, but
don't want to waste time driving to see it, if the price is not going to
come down some...at least to what they think is a market right price.

InconsideratePeople?

Gotta question/observation ya'll might be able to shed some light on for
me -

I've been trying to sell a 89 Ford Van with a Wheelchair lift for a few
months - it's limited market, older van but in excellent condition. I've
advertised in the paper, local trading post, a Handicapped Dealer Newsletter

and Auto Trader.

Had one really good prospect -- but his wheelchair wouldn't work with my
lift - and the others were mostly people who called to get details and
before they even look at it they want to know if I'll lower the price.
Seems a little forward to me. I don't mind talking price but these people
never even looked at it to know how reasonable the price was already.

The worst part was after talking for 1/2 hour I never hear from them again.
Are there that many lonely people out there?

Brian B - does this happen to you a lot? Must get frustratiing -
