Ahhh... the memories of being at the 84 Detroit GP - the last couple of years of the Turbo Time - those little cars - turbo cars were around 2.0L IIRC, and they would absolutely *Scream*!! I walked thru a parking deck when moving from one location to another and Good Lord!, the noise was amazing! Can't recall which engine they ran - probably the whole range of V8s, 12's ? - must have had pistons like thimbles to stay under 2.0L/
Would love to take one apart - ;-)

Section 34 in the hairpin is nice...as is 31. The areas near Senna curve are also good views.
It really depends on what your definition of "best" is. Do you want the best sounds? Best view of the track? Best access to the Bud Tent?
The best view of any race is from home on a large TV...

I spoke with the Indy ticket office this morning and was told that they are NOT taking renewals until after the July 12 meeting to determine the fate of F1 at Indy. (Good thing since I forgot to send my renewal form yesterday).
Presumably, another renewal form will be sent out if there is a race there next year.
So, what is the consensus on best places to watch the Canadian GP?
Best regards, Roger
