ya'll may be interested in the new issue of EVO which shows the top 10 auto
icons of all time - the F40 is near the top.

Almost
at 500HP @ the rear wheels (what's that at the crank?). Hoping new exhaust

Wow...very impressive!
You have around 588 at the crank, assuming 15% driveline loss...
I haven't driven all the cars on that list you had, but even if it weren'tas fast, it would still be way more fun. :)
:)
Turbo LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
Do you like the turbo lag? I drove a 911 Turbo last year and the way the power comes on is very "interesting"....I can now see the appeal of turbo motors, although I'm not sure I'm completely sold on the concept.
Was gonna say if you wanted to eliminate lag you could probably re-work the
turbo plumbing....is the car slow off boost?
I remember the FORZA article on the 288 GTO where the author said off boost
any car could take it, but once the boost came on, it was sure to "frighten
the uninitiated"...
Fair assessment?
:)
