that's probably a very good description. i've only had one drive of a 430 but it was on the black spur and surrounds. (quite a famous winding hilly road out of town) it was an extremely capable car without doubt. Excitment factor, however, stock standard, was a step down from my 355ch and a long way behind an F40. The second most exciting road based car i've driven is a 360ch on the race track, but that probably shouldn't count. _____ From: philville dejazzd.com [mailto:philville [at] dejazzd.com] Sent: Wednesday, 4 July 2007 12:55 AM To: Peter Pless Cc: 'The FerrariList' Subject: Re: [Ferrari] F40 vs. the new punks Peter I have driven various F 40's (a few) my question is, having never driven a 430, in comparison, does the F 40 feel like a car and you like a driver and does the 430 feel like a technically superior piece of machinery and you a talented competent technician??? Just wondering, Phil
