The cause of sticky interiors of the rubber coated pieces in modern day
Ferraris (346, TR, 355, 360, 550, etc) is NOT directly caused by application
of ArmorAll (though it may speed the process).  There are many, many cases
of cars not receiving any treatment of the parts and still they become
melted and sticky.  It appears to be caused by nothing more than a crappy
quality coating, and direct exposure to the sun.  More sun and heat, the
sooner it will deteriorate.
