Larry, Saying the Ford GT is a poor long distance car is as appropriate as saying the F40 or Countach are poor long distance cars. As for the Ford vs. Ferrari debate, I think the two cars cannot be compared, and if possible both should be owned. A lot of people are of the mutually exclusive mindset with european exotics and domestics, but I and a few others that the two should be coupled in the same garage. FG
