Larry: I'd have to say that this would be an exceptional thread. I would expand the number of toys (cars, etc.) from 10 to 15-20 as I think I'm already outside the 10 car limit and have two or three more things to pick up when my budget permits. Give me a day or two and I can decide what else I need, other than of course one of those new RR Phantom long wheelbase limousines and of course one of the 100EX convertibles. Oh, and I'd probably exchange the 348 Spyder for a 430 Spyder (I should be sure but I'm not, I kind of like my 348). Yes, time to use them can be a problem but it works itself out. Right now I'm finishing up the exterior structure of a facility to house the cars, no HVAC yet, and I'll probably settle for basic electricity and a lift right now and buff it up later as required. Incidentally, on a slow day waiting for a jury to come back in about 10 years ago we did a similar mental exercise and determined that it would take a pre-tax win of cash in hand (the current payout option on lotteries not the 20 yr. payout stuff) would be somewhere in the $60m-$75m to do everything that we wanted to do without ever touching the principle, and about $35m-$30m amortized over 25 years of life remaining leaving a residual $2.5m-$5m to settle all remaining expenses at time of death and to maintain the property in a perpetual maintenance, but not usage trust (with open provisions for loans to museums, etc.) So, as they say, the ball is out in open court and ready to be claimed. I really like the idea of this thread, and for the purists, it will (at least most probably) have some degree of Ferrari content.
