When my grandfather was still on this planet he went down for "just a
week" and came back younger 1.5 months later. YMMV!

Hey Jason: Not quite as bad as Rio. A friend went down there for a
conference, and 'went looking for love in all the wrong places.' I
guess he had seen 'Blame It On Rio' one too many times and was
looking for a Demi Moore look-a-like on the beach in front of his
hotel at 2am. Wrong move! By the time the friendly natives got
through with him he was minus his wallet, clothes, watch, wedding
ring, shoes and even glasses. He made it back to the hotel lobby
wearing only his jockey shorts. Thank God Memphis doesn't have an
     ocean out front!

Just a thought if no one thought of it yet. I think Memphis is great
just remember I've been to Memphis for car events and security at the
hotels was an issue. We had stolen trucks, trailers, cars. After that
some of the group took turns sitting in the parking lot armed, even with
the security company that was hired being on-site. Maybe they were the
leak we'll never know? We tried to park most everyone in one area so
when they left we could stop and recognize them as part of our group and
not just some thugs. Or at least make sure if they were thugs that they
were thugs part of our group ;). The security guard didn't know who to
stop or not stop in and out of the hotels.
