Please take a minute to think something through and then IMMEDIATELY follow  
Larry's advice in this matter.  As with others on the list I have BTDT,  and 
being in the courtroom on many occasions as a professional and expert I  have 
seen the consequences of a failure to do so. 
 
Not only are the best interests of your young one at stake, but yours,  
personal, custodial and financial are as well. It is hard to be clinically  
detached when one is a participant, but this is one time when it is absolutely  
necessary to do two things, act promptly and obtain the best legal  
representation 
that you can affords and secure. The immediacy of those  requirements may 
escape you now, but soon you will be faced with a judicial  system that is 
punitively prejudiced against fathers in both custodial and  financial matters 
and 
your soon to be ex has probably secured the legal services  and representation 
you will be facing until the young man either reaches the age  of eighteen, 
graduates from high school or college or is otherwise  emancipated.
