And the (Republican) congress for passing it. Assholes. As regards outsourcing, the "Big 3" wouldn't know a good idea if it sat on their heads and farted. Why didn't THEY come up with something small, economical, and CHEAP? I'll bet the RNC and the candidates (and those running downstream) are just as happy as pigs in slop about: A. High gasoline (and coming soon to a furnace near you, high fuel oil prices) B. Increasing unemployment C. Decreasing consumer confidance D. The whole sub prime debacle which leads to E. A failing housing market, not only a) new construction but also b) Existing home values, which is where most Americans, myself included, have their "nest egg" for the future. He's basically thoughtless, shallow, and close-minded. Sure, he listens to other people and has a history of being able to bring divergent people (and their opinions) together into a compromise, but then again, he HAS (Marshallism) to. :) One more shot, before the Pooferator claims another victim. We NEVER should have gone into Iraq. I said it all along (in other places) and now the American public agrees, for various reasons. Oil. Money. And, he uses "National Security" to take away freedoms our ancestors died for. I think history will rate him as ineffectual, but what makes me mad is that we've had the benefit of his ineptitude for 8 L O N G years. 'Nuf said, just my humble opinion, think Dan Quayle would have been better suited as a president than this particular son of G.H.W.B. And, for those who can remember that far back, the announcement of Quayle as G.H.W.B.'s runing mate brought VERY puzzled, and soon to be downright amazed, looks on everyone, even those in the Republican party. I mean, hell, G.W.B. is an exercise in futility and frustration. George, if you're going to insist on invading Iraq and build U.S. bases there but not take over their oil, you're doing it the wrong way. Crap, NUKE Saudi Arabia and Iraq (well, we have a foothold there, so maybe we won't need to nuke them), okay so nuke Iran for good measure, and Venezuala (take THAT, Hugo!) and take over the damn countries and we can live fat and happy for a few hundred more years. We can go back to, what, maybe $1.50/gallon gas and charge eveyone else (China, India) LOTS of money and we can pour all that money into alternative energy research so that when it DOES run out we have a way (or several) out of the mess. But, if we're not going to do that, then we HAVE to get our collective fat asses in gear and figure out how we're gonna cope with the increasingly bleak future if we keep going the way we are now. </rant> ----- Original Message ----- From: <BRIGANDBAR [at] aol.com> To: "Tom Reynolds" <kjtar [at] cox.net> Cc: "The FerrariList" <ferrari [at] ferrarilist.com> Sent: Friday, January 11, 2008 2:05 PM Subject: Re: [Ferrari] New Indian Supercar [Ferrari Digest, Vol 18, Issue 18] > One more thing about this new creation from India.
