Speaking of 45s, etc I noticed some stores like Costco carrying turntables 
again - this time with USB connections. Wonder why is took so long.  I am 
still using the turntable I bought in the 80s and have a box to connect to 
my computer so I can record my old records.

If BluRay is to be the new standard, I wonder if there is a home style 
BluRay Recorder?  I haven;t even bought a DVR yet.  Not totally true, I have 
several DVD Recorders but they happen to be in my computers.

Do BR players play DVDs and CDs?  Or is this yet another technology I will 
need to convert my treasures to?
