Hi Rich,
Good point. Someone did a Lexus/Nexis search of big media over a 10 year period - the 90s, IIRC - and they found the term "Far Right Radical" used 1000's if not 10s of thousands of times while during the same period only 1 or 2 uses ( a very, very few at any rate) of the term "Far-Left Radical". I find it hard to believe there are so many "far right radicals" and so few "far left radicals". Nope, no bias.

The Liberal Media, as you put it, are basically the poor schleps who go
out every day and cover the homicides, police blotter, city council
meetings, etc. Now, true, there do seem to be a few Liberal papers out
there (the New York Times and Boston Globe might spring to mind) but in most
cases, the editors and/or publishers of newspapers are rather wealthy
conservative types.
There was a story on the radio about a week ago, can't remember exactly
where or when, now, having to do with the question of "Does it help or
hinder for a newspaper to give their endorsement to a candidate?"

Yesterdays USA Today cover story on the NY Governor scandal, which was
covered in the front half of the paper and 1/2 the second page as well, the
article mentioned Spitzer many times and the former NJ Gov McGreevey's sex
scandal. And as predictable as the sun setting, none of these mentions by
USA today of the two resigned NY & NJ governors included any mention
whatsoever of their party affiliation of democrat.
Not once . But in the one menton in the same article of Idaho Senator Larry
Craig and his scandal, the USA today immediately identified Craig as a
Republican.
No media bias of course.
