The Liberal Media, as you put it, are basically the poor schleps who go out 
every day and cover the homicides, police blotter, city council meetings, etc.  
Now, true, there do seem to be a few Liberal papers out there (the New York 
Times and Boston Globe might spring to mind) but in most cases, the editors 
and/or publishers of newspapers are rather wealthy conservative types.
There was a story on the radio about a week ago, can't remember exactly where 
or when, now, having to do with the question of "Does it help or hinder for a 
newspaper to give their endorsement to a candidate?"
