Recall the active suspensions of the early 90's where the teams could make 
suspension adjustments from the garage, and change the settings for each 
corner, therefore making the car partially remote controlled. That was short 
lived, and rightfully so, but the TC is really needed for the safety of the 
sport. Unless you want NASCAR like pile ups and 50% attrition, it is needed, 
and although it is a driver aid, it will not separate the best drivers. It will 
make starting position that much more important (i.e. Hamilton leading and 
pulling away while drivers are struggling to get through traffic) and mid pack 
at the start will result in many collisions throughout the season. If you are 
doing away with TC, why not bring back slick tires more more mechanical grip?
