It appears we are deep into that process -- as I understand it Pelosi and 
gang are so determined to prevent the "Drill Here, Drill Now" movement from 
bringing drilling offshore to a vote they turned the lights off while 
Republican senators continued to speak and today I hear some kind of 
"compromise" legislation that prevents drilling while showing congress is 
doing *something*.  Don;t they freakin underrstand what the people want? 
Lower prices and energy independence.

Geez, there's 536 morons inside the beltway - all being paid by tax dollars 
and all they do is make a show.

As far as the speed traps - the New Jersey portion of I95 used to have toll 
booths with time stamps on the tickets - rumor has it they checked the time 
to make sure you didn;t move between booths to quickly.

While he didn;t get the timing quite right when he wrote "1984" he seems to 
have the concept  pretty well covered.

We are being smothered with governmental "Help".  Either in the name of 
safety or "For the Children"  It''s like LBJs "War on Poverty" - we'd be 
better off giving all the poor people $1 mil each and we'd have come out 
ahead.

sorry for the rant - everything seems to be going into the crapper at once - 
and the children of gov't take a recess. Not that they;d make things better 
based on past experience.
