Doug,

I bought a Kodak EasyShare V1253 12 Mega pixel right before Christmas and
love it.
http://www.kodak.com/eknec/PageQuerier.jhtml?pq-path=11617&pq-locale=en_US&_
requestid=3016 I got it in black.

I am a photography buff and truly believe in film SLR and Digital SLR
cameras. But, while traveling a lot I discovered I wouldn't carry my SLR
camera(s) because it (they) are too bulky. So, my main goal was to get a
great pocket camera; and I mean that it had to be cell phone size and fit in
my jeans pocket. I believe I have succeeded with this Kodak. I have taken
some phenomenal shots with this camera that I would not have gotten with my
other cameras simply because I wouldn't have had them with me. Is it
perfect, no. Can I take better shots with an SLR, you bet. But, this thing
really does take nice pictures and has some really cool features (like 16:9
720P video).

Good luck,
Dave Craig

Gotta get a "cheap" but otherwise good, point and shoot that I can carry in
my pocket. Thanks to Ferrari Bubba, I have done my time looking like Dennis

Hopper in Apocalypse Now.
Any opinions?
DOUG
