Re: Digital camera - point and shoot

I bought a digital P&S a year or so ago. My primary criteria
was zoom range. I had an elcheapo Canon (which worked
very well, BTW) but the cheaper cameras lack in range.

Anyway, my newer A710is served me well thru 2000 snapshots
on my Italian car factory tour last year. The image stabilized
lens worked well in those indoor places where they don't allow
flash. Downside: It's a bit bulky for pocket (altho I kept it there),
and it's not exactly on the cheaper end of the price scale.
Upside: It's fully adjustable - exposure comp, aperture priority,
shutter priority, full manual, etc. Even has manual focus available,
should you want it.

Hans.
