Hmm, that is just patently a lie and untrue. Every year the local community
here sponsors 100 children from the Ukraine who all have the most horrific
cancers, all gained from the fallout from the explosion. There are tens of
thousands of affected people with a huge range of cancers. This is all
documented
and has been for years. You don't see it because you live far away from it
but plenty of US Doctors have travelled and do travel every year to volunteer
medical help to the people from those devastated towns. When I lived in
Sweden it was the same, lots of different groups trying to donate time and
help
for the children (now grown up and teenagers) with horrible cancers. Don't
pretend this isn't true and spread that crap about no victims of the fallout.
They are dying every day from that accident.I still believe in Nuclear power as

being a viable alternative but NOT using the type of plants the Russians used
in the 80's.
BTW has anyone seen the Nat Geographic show "Seconds from Disaster" about a
similar accident that happened in CA or Nevada in the late 50's early 60's? It
was the SAME thing that happened in the Ukraine and some people were killed.
Same type of plant I believe. It was quietly covered up (according tot he
documentary I saw) and the US started building a different type of Nuc plant
after that.
